This summer is a summer of extension: Yesterday I extended the Simoons & Company product portfolio with a new product in the Alliance Mastery series. Yet a first of more products and services to come. As I wrote last Monday I am working with a couple of people in the field of alliances to extend the blog on the Simoons & Company website with guest posts.
Alliances have many different forms and shapes, when talking to people working in the alliance field it is good to verify what for them an alliance is. The alliance spectrum is a broad one and people may be working in channel alliances, joint ventures or somewhere in between. As such they may have a different understanding of what a strategic alliance is and may bring different experiences in the alliance field. With the initiative to invite guest bloggers to the Simoons & Company blog I am extending the blog, inviting more “Company” to the blog and with that I hope to bring a broader experience to the reader than I can provide just by myself. Creating synergy through writing. In fact creating a small writing alliance on the blog.
The intensity of guest blogs will probably vary per guest blogger from incidental to being a regular guest writer. At the moment I am in final conversation with the first guest blogger with his first post to be expected next week. In fact a blogger who is a returning guest on the website as he appeared already in 2010 in The Alliance Conversation. Soon more to be revealed!
