On April 16, 2013, I started in St. Jean-Pied-de-Port in the South of France on the first day of walking. My goal was to walk the Camino Francés to Santiago de Compostela and if time would allow I was planning to continue the walk to Finisterre and Muxia. My Camino progressed very well: after 28 walking days and covering 900 kilometers I had not only reached Santiago de Compostela but also Finisterre and Muxia and still had two spare days left. Physically I performed extremely well with no issues at all and only lost 4 kg along the trip. Mentally I enjoyed every step of the Camino.

That first Camino turned me into a Camino addicted walker and since 2013 I have returned several times to the Camino. Visit my photography website to see a collection of photo’s from all my Camino’s.
