The past 25 years I have worked in international sales and business development positions at multinationals and in my own companies. Therein I have provided leadership to direct-report teams as well as worldwide virtual teams. For the past 8 years before founding Simoons & Company, I have been leading virtual teams in IBM developing the global relationship with Philips Healthcare and the overall global alliance between Royal Philips and IBM. Simoons & Company has been founded as a network organization providing coaching and training to customers.

I am a CA-AM certified alliance professional and chairman of the BeNeLux chapter of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.

I am a strategic thinker and specialist in the areas of strategic alliances, business development and the use of social media and social networking.
